Why participate?
The goal of the Creative Trade Mission to Media Evolution: The Conference is to inspire young creative entrepreneurs and to introduce them to potential clients and investors in Sweden and Denmark.

Media Evolution: The Conference has been proclaimed as one of the best places in Europe to find business intelligence about the trends in the new digital media landscape.

Participants on the mission get a free ticket to the conference and an exclusive meet and greet with the speakers. You can present your company at the marketplace and pitch to potential clients, partners and investors. There are two pitches as part of the mission, in Malmö and in Copenhagen.

What does this cost? You pay for your travel and hotel. We pay for the conference (value of €500), pitching, marketplace and several lunches, dinners and drinks.
Great flight deals can be found to Copenhagen, 15 minutes from Malmö Central.
We are working on couch surfing opportunities, and we have a handful bunk-beds at Stapelbäddsparken so if you fine with that – let us know!

Our annual business intelligence conference is for anyone working in or with the media sector in the broadest sense. At Media Evolution „The Conference‟ you will find inspiration for new innovative ways of doing business in this digital age, how our behaviour changes with the new platforms and technology that surrounds us all. And when you are full of inspiration and ideas, we look at how you can make it happen.

Media Evolution:The Conference is an international media conference that focuses on the factors that are affecting all media industries. It aims to get a cross boundary understanding and discussion going between the different branches.
Also, as an add on, Malmöfestivalen is taking place the same week with live music, art and fashion on stages all around the city, all for free!

 

Last year

In 2011 the event was sold out with 650 participating delegates and 40 speakers form all parts of the world, you could listen to people like Bill Drummond (KLF), Amber Case (Geoloqi), Riyaad Minty (Al Jazeera), Paola Antonelli (MoMa), Naveen Selvadurai (foursquare) and Luke Williams (NYU/frog design).

This year at the conference Media Evolution: The Conference is where the media industries meet; it attracts executives and creative‟s working with film, games, web, publishing, tech and music. Invest in Skåne is the official regional promotion agency facilitating inward investment to Sweden‟s southernmost region Skåne, as well as promoting internationalisation of the regional industry. Our main areas of work are: Life Sciences, ICT, Cleantech, Material Science and Food and Packaging. Stapelbädden – Stpln
Stpln acts primary in the following areas; art, music and new media/technology. Stpln is an unusual scene for urban culture – unique with its integrated arena for extreme sports and cultural activities. It is a scene where” “users are the producers” and were the ideas and experiences of these users help to develop and transform an old industrial area into a “platform of possibilities”.
