Understanding changes to the way that we consume culture at home during COVID-19: Week three of the six-week study

On the third week that involves this Creative Industries Policy & Evidence Centre (PEC) study, for music film and TV, a decrease in the proportion who are downloading and streaming has been noticed, suggesting that they may be gravitating towards other sources. Additionally, there has been a decline in the frequency with which people are checking and interacting with social media. However, culture across the board – music, film, video games, books and TV – remain an important part of our daily routines, with the average number of hours spent consuming them each day staying high. The frequency with which people are checking the news also remains high.
