Across the world, concert venues, museums and theatres are shut down. Europe’s musicians, actors and singers are sitting at home with nothing to do, having seen their gig opportunities disappear. Many are now in a desperate situation. The EU had put in place measures to keep people in employment, but the specificity of the cultural sector makes it harder for its workers to qualify for support.
