Tokyo and the impact of coronavirus on cultural sector

On Thursday, 2 July 2020 a LIVECAST was broadcasted about the capital of Japan: Tokyo, in the ‘Infected Cities’ series organised by DutchCulture. What is the impact of the coronavirus on Tokyo during what was to be the Olympic year? How do art and culture professionals respond to the crisis? And what is their future outlook? The COVID-19 pandemic has an enormous impact worldwide. While it is clear that everyone is affected by this pandemic, the impact is certainly not the same for different countries, continents, cities and different groups of people. Together with Pakhuis de Zwijger, DutchCulture has created an online series of LIVECASTS about how nine metropolises worldwide are dealing with the current pandemic.
