Arts & Humanities in Quarantine: Public Engagement Urgency Call

Republished by ECBN from: Arts and Humanities Research Council

The UKRI Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), in collaboration with BBC Arts, welcomes applications to Arts & Humanities in Quarantine. This funding call invites proposals from AHRC-funded researchers to take part in a project that will partner them, if successful, with professional film-producers and film-makers to bring their research to a wide public audience. Proposals sought are from current AHRC-funded researchers which make clear why their research is suitable for translation into a 3-5 minutes film of interest to a wide non-specialist audience.

The films themselves must be: animations, illustrated pieces or graphically led; made in compliance with government lockdown and social distancing rules in force at the time. There are no restrictions on theme but films which have ‘life beyond lockdown’ are encouraged.
